Thank You for Making the 37th Night of the Hunter a Success

On March 28, 2026, members, families and friends of the chapter filled the ballroom at The Embassy in Youngstown for our 37th annual Night of the Hunter. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, donated an item, sponsored a table or volunteered. That one night funds most of what this chapter does for the rest of the year.

What the night looked like

• Auction tables filled the room, from guns and gear to framed wildlife art.
• Kids made the rounds at the raffle buckets, and the youth giveaway sent young hunters home with gear bags.
• The Millcreek Marksman youth shooting club set up a table, a reminder of where some of the money goes.
• Awards were presented at the podium, and the live auction kept the room busy all evening.
• The game dinner did not disappoint.

Where the money goes

Proceeds support youth education, including AWLS scholarships and the Millcreek Marksmen 4-H Club. They also fund conservation projects backed by SCI matching grants, Sensory Safari and veterans and community outreach.
